Complex Theorzz was founded in 2016 by a small group of friends who were passionate about gaming. However, over time, CTz grew into a larger organization with a more diverse roster of gamers.

In 2017, CTz experienced a setback when a large portion of its roster became inactive and left the organization. Streamers, Competitive players, Managers, and Editors all because summer was over. This led to a period of inactivity for CTz. However, the organization was left up to Shochus to keep going. CTz has been revived 2 separate times prior to 2023, in 2019 and 2021. (Neither attempts were successful due to the amount on my plate, your boy was going through it -Drew/Shochus) BUT then 2023 hit, literally a new year to restart. Complex Theorzz completely rebranded (except the logo) and started grinding.

Since its revival, CTz has been on an upward trajectory. New managers, streamers, players, and even a pro merch shop.
